Following a rigorous User Acceptance Test (UAT), five leading Solar Home Systems companies—Azuri Technologies, A Solar, Oolu Solar, Smarter Grid International (SGI) and Sosai Renewable Energy Company—were successfully integrated into Swifta’s 20,000+ strong cash collection agent network. The integration would ease subscription collection from unbanked Pay As You Go (PAYGO) customers. NoMAP Signs MOU with SHS Companies to Pilot Off-Grid Payment System
NoMAP has signed MOUs with five Solar Home Systems companies to finance and manage their integration into a network of cash collection agents across the country to facilitate PAYGO payment collection in off-grid communities. The integration is aimed at addressing challenges limiting PAYGO SHS companies from reaching last mile communities. NoMAP is working with SWIFTA, a payment aggregator with more than 20,000 agents across the country to ease the challenges PAYGO companies face in collecting subscription from their unbanked customers.
