Five PAYGO Solar Companies Integrated into Swifta’s Agent Network
Following a rigorous User Acceptance Test (UAT), five leading Solar Home Systems companies—Azuri Technologies, A Solar, Oolu Solar, Smarter Grid International (SGI) and Sosai Renewable Energy Company—were successfully integrated into Swifta’s 20,000+ strong cash collection agent network. The integration would ease subscription collection from unbanked Pay As You Go (PAYGO) customers. NoMAP Signs MOU with SHS Companies to Pilot Off-Grid Payment System
NoMAP has signed MOUs with five Solar Home Systems companies to finance and manage their integration into a network of cash collection agents across the country to facilitate PAYGO payment collection in off-grid communities. The integration is aimed at addressing challenges limiting PAYGO SHS companies from reaching last mile communities. NoMAP is working with SWIFTA, a payment aggregator with more than 20,000 agents across the country to ease the challenges PAYGO companies face in collecting subscription from their unbanked customers. NoMAP is currently supporting the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) with energy audits in various markets in Kaduna and Kano. The energy audit is a component of REA’s Energizing Economies Initiative (EEI) . BEDC Signs MOU on Mini-Grid Project for Communities in Franchise Areas
